Dress It Up
Are you saving your dresses to wear for special occasions? Well it is time to take them out of your closet and make them an everyday item!
Wearing a dress is the easiest form of dressing. You just put on some undergarments, slip on the dress and you are done. No need to worry about coordinating separates - the dress is there for you in one great package. And you can’t find anything better for the hot weather. No zippers or tight waistbands to make you feel sticky or uncomfortable.
I like to wear a pair of jockey shorts under my dresses so I don’t have the dreaded thigh friction. Plus if the dress is a little on the short side or you have to bend down to pick up a 35 pound corgi no one will be shocked.
If you are self conscious about your arms, try putting a tee shirt under your tank dress. When we move into the cooler weather it can extend its wearing time. The same will hold true for leggings. As the cooler months approach and you do not want to wear panty hose, the leggings keep your legs warm and turns the dress basically into a tunic top.
You will find the dress is right for any occasion. Going out for lunch with friends, going grocery shopping or just hanging around the house. And you don’t have to worry if you are under or over dressed. So pull those dresses out of the back of your closet and give them a twirl… because everyday is a special occasion.
